How Can I Help You?

Wondering how deep health coaching works? Here’s how I help people eat, move, and live better.

Want to lose weight, build muscle, play tennis better, run a marathon, triathlon or any other goal?

Follow these steps:

1) Break your goal down into specific skills

2) Break those skills down into daily practices.

3) integrate those practices into activities of daily living until they become habits.

Easy Enough, but too often we fail.

To achieve a challenging goal, almost everyone needs help from time to time. That is where I come in!

Here are the Key Elements:

When you’re just getting started, you’re committed, but not quite capable, Moving forward takes courage. Supportive coach or mentor can help.

Encouragement During the Courage Phase

A Respected Coach

A good coach is someone you trust and respect, who’s there when you need them. I work personally and deeply with my clients. I support a limited number for clients ensuring I have the time and attention to authentically understand and support their journey to acheving their goals.

A Known Cadence of Accountability

Accountability works best if it happens at regular intervals. I “check-in” at regular intervals. Check-ins occur at expected, planned moments. Check-ins are about helping you overcome obstacles, setbacks, focus or re-focus your priorities or practices, and celebrate successes.

Positive Progressive Focus

It’s important to shine a light on all the progress, not just the physical. Good stuff is usually happening, even if you can’t see it. Find that good stuff and celebrate it.

Proactive Obstacle Identification

What’s better than solving a problem? Avoiding it in the first place. Good Coaches warn you about upcoming roadblocks so you’re less likely to get derailed.
